Adolescence can be a time of significant change, growth, and emotional intensity. Teens may feel overwhelmed by school pressure, family conflict, friendship difficulties, self-esteem issues, anxiety, sadness, or the challenges that come with figuring out who they are. At times, these experiences can feel confusing or difficult to put into words.
My goal in working with teens is to help them feel understood and supported as they navigate this stage of life. I provide a space where they can express their thoughts and feelings more openly, gain insight into what they are experiencing, and develop healthier ways of coping with stress and emotional challenges.
I also recognize the importance of the family’s role during adolescence. When appropriate, I work collaboratively with parents to support communication, understanding, and the teen’s growth in ways that feel helpful and balanced.
